MW: Euro-zone June industrial production falls 0.1%

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Industrial production in the 16-nation euro zone fell 0.1% in June, the European Union statistics agency Eurostat reported Thursday. Compared to June 2009, production was up 8.2%. Economists had forecast a 0.5% monthly rise and a 9.1% year-on-year increase. Eurostat revised higher May production to show a 1.1% monthly rise and a 9.9% year-on-year increase.
