NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Energy stocks fell Wednesday after worse-than-expected durable goods orders contributed to bearish sentiment. The NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI 922.95, -8.47, -0.91%) dropped 0.8% to 924. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG 482.27, -4.24, -0.87%) subtracted 0.8% to 483. The Philadelphia Oil Service Index (OSX 171.30, -1.12, -0.65%) fell 0.7% to 171. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 36 points.
