TORONTO, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index
climbed at the open on Wednesday on rising prices for gold and
other commodities.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE edged 1.40 points
higher to 12,171.97 at the open, and quickly extended gains.
