RTTN: Swiss Franc Soars To New Multi-year High Against US Dollar
(RTTNews) - The Swiss currency rallied against its major rivals on Tuesday morning in New York and pushed to a fresh multi-year high of 0.9766 against the US dollar around 10:25 am ET. On the upside, the alpine currency may find target around the 0.9650 level.
The franc advanced to a 4-day high of 85.97 against the yen and 1.5395 against the pound by this time, up from previous session's multi-day lows of 85.23 and 1.5665, respectively. If the Swiss franc strengthens further, likely resistance levels are seen at 86.30 against the yen and 1.5360 versus the pound.
The Swiss franc also rose to as high as 1.3172 against the euro before holding steady around 10:00 am ET. On the upside, the Swiss currency may find target around the 1.31 level.
