CHICAGO — Grain futures dropped Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery dropped 18.75 cents to $6.66 a bushel; December corn fell 6.25 cents to $4.9375 a bushel; December oats slid 10 cents to $3.28 a bushel; while soybeans for November delivery tumbled 14 cents to $10.96 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures traded flat or lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle slipped 0.98 cent to 98.32 cents a pound; November feeder cattle shed 0.50 cent to $1.1010 a pound; December lean hogs slid 1 cent to 74.90 cents a pound; and February pork bellies were flat at $1.0850 a pound.
