ND: Dollar falls across the board after NFP

FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - A disappointing employment report in the US weakened the Dollar across the board. USD/JPY fell below 82.00 hitting a fresh 15-year low. The Euro jumped against the Dollar and rose from 1.3880 to 1.3980, currently is retreating but remains above 1.3900.

GBP/USD rose almost a hundred pips after the release of the jobs report, from 1.5850 to 1.5930 and holds near daily highs.

"Pound is weak, in fact the second weaker currency after greenback, plus the strong congestion zone we have in between 1.5920/40; unless an acceleration above this last, we have no technical confirmation of a retest of 1.6000", said Valeria Bednarik, at the Live Coverage of the NFP release at FXstreet.com Homepage.

US economy, according to the report of the Department of Labor the economy lost 95.000 jobs during September. The private sector added 64.000. Both figures did not match market expectations.
