LONDON (MarketWatch) -- The annual growth rate of M3 money supply in the 16-nation euro zone slowed to 1% in September from 1.1% in August, the European Central Bank said Wednesday. The average annual rate of growth in the July-to-September period was 0.8%. Loans to the private sector saw annual growth of 1.2% in September, the ECB said, unchanged from August.
