IS: Gas prises raised 3.12%
 
The National Infrastructures Ministry announced Sunday that as of Monday, November 1, the price of 95 octane gasoline would rise 3.12%, putting the price of a liter of self-service gas at NIS 6.62. The price of a liter at full service was raised to NIS 6.75. The 20 agorot increase marks the second straight month of climbing gas prices spurred by the price of crude oil, which rose 10.25% over the past month.

Housing demand drops in September
The demand for new housing in Israel dropped in September to 2,920 apartments, a 5.6% decrease in comparison to August and a 9.5% drop-off versus September 2009, the Central Bureau of Statistics announced Sunday. The report integrated information from the Ministry of Housing's new homes survey. According to the data, 1,660 of the new apartments were sold to the public, while the remainder were either sold in advance to buyers' groups, built for rent, or constructed as additions to existing homes.
