BLBG: Pound Climbs Against Dollar, Euro as BOE Says Inflation Likely to Decline
The British pound strengthened versus the dollar and euro after the Bank of England said inflation is likely to fall back toward its 2 percent target over a two-year forecast period.
Sterling rose 0.3 percent to $1.6028 as of 10:33 a.m. in London and appreciated 0.1 percent versus the euro to 86.08 pence.
