Syracuse, NY – The average price of a gallon of regular gas is now above $3.05, more than a nickel higher than a week ago, two monitoring services say.
The SyracuseGasPrices.com website this morning posted Syracuse average of $3.051. That’s down two-tenths of a penny from Sunday but up from $2.995 last Monday.
Prices ranged from $2.94 a gallon at a Kwik Fill in East Syracuse and a Sunoco in Liverpool to $3.19 a gallon at a service station on Syracuse’s Skunk City and Mobil stations in Liverpool and Skaneateles. Syracuse.com has a map of stations with the lowest prices around the city.
The AAA motor club’s Fuel Gauge Report said regular is averaging $3.052 a gallon around Syracuse, one-tenth of a cent lower than Sunday but up 5.8 cents from last Monday.
Rochester is the low spot in the state with an average of $3.05, AAA said. Statewide, regular is averaging $3.094 a gallon, according to the motor club.
