RTTN: Dollar Steady Ahead Of U.S. Leading Indicators, Philly Fed Survey Data
(RTTNews) - The Conference Board is scheduled to release a report on the U.S. leading economic indicators index for October at 10.00 AM ET. Economists expect that the leading indicators index increased 0.6% for the month, following 0.3% increase in the previous month.
Traders will also focus on the results of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve's manufacturing survey, to be released at 10.00 AM ET. Economists expect the diffusion index of current activity to show a reading of 4.5 for November.
The US dollar remained stable against its major counterparts ahead of the data. At present, the greenback is quoted at 1.3632 against the euro, 1.6013 versus the pound, 83.30 against the yen and 0.9883 against the Swiss franc.
