U.S. stock index futures are higher this morning after a strong session in Asian and European markets.
Traders are awaiting news from the European Central Bank on measures it will take to support the peripheral Eurozone countries. The euro was up fractionally against the dollar ahead of an announcement to be made at the E.C.B. meeting.
