SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures shied away from $100 a barrel as floor trading got underway Thursday, scaling back a bit after trading as high as $103.41 a barrel overnight on Globex. Crude for April delivery (CLJ11 99.89, +1.79, +1.83%) most recently traded up $1.42, or 1.5%, to $99.47 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
