BLBG: Copper in London Drops for the First Time in Three Days
 
Copper in London dropped for the first time in three days on concern the turmoil which began in Egypt and has cut oil output in Libya may spread to other parts of the Middle East, driving energy prices higher and weigh on global growth.

The metal for three-month delivery on the London Metal Exchange fell as much as 0.6 percent to $9,705 a metric ton, and traded at $9,714 by 9:03 a.m. Singapore time. Futures in Shanghai gained for a second day, by as much as 1 percent, to 73,300 yuan a ton.
