SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures traded lower Thursday after two consecutive record-breaking sessions drove the metal to $1,437.70 an ounce. Gold for April delivery (GCJ11 1,422, -15.60, -1.09%) , the most active contract, recently retreated $11.50, or 0.8%, to $1,425.50 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. |
