(RTTNews) - The yen that declined in late Asian deals on Friday after a strong earthquake hit Japan's north-eastern coast, recovered its losses after 2:25 am ET.
The yen thus recovered from a 2-day low against the NZ dollar, 17-day low against the US dollar and a 1-week low against the Swiss franc.
As of now, the yen is worth 60.85 against the NZ dollar, 85.03 against the Canadian dollar, 82.90 against the US dollar, 114.45 against the euro and 88.83 against the franc.
Against the pound and the aussie, the yen is currently trading at a 9-day high of 132.90 and 82.75, respectively.
