SYDNEY (MarketWatch) -- Benchmark Nymex crude-oil futures edged higher in electronic trading early Monday in Asia following international involvement in the conflict in Libya. Light sweet crude for April delivery (CLJ11 102.92, +1.85, +1.83%) traded at $102.80 a barrel, a rise of 1.7% or $1.76. Airstrikes rained over Libya on Sunday, while embattled leader Col. Moammar Gadhafi vowed to wage a "long war" and made vague threats about Libya's oil fields, according to media reports.
