SF: Turkish Bonds Erase Earlier Drop, Yields Fall First Day in Four
March 28 (Bloomberg) -- Turkish bonds gained for the first day in four, erasing an earlier drop and the lira strengthened against the dollar.
The yields on two-year bonds fell 1 basis point, or 0.01 percentage point, to 9.0 percent at the 5 p.m. close in Istanbul, according to the RBS Istanbul Benchmark Bond Index.
The benchmark ISE National 100 Index rose less than 0.1 percent to 64,261.33, trimming its retreat for the quarter to 2.6 percent. The lira gained 0.2 percent to 1.554365 per dollar.
