FXS: Dollar falls against EUR, GBP and commodity currencies
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) – US Dollar weakened across the board as stocks rise in Wall Street and gold soars. The EUR/USD rose back above 1.4200 to 1.4225, approaching daily highs while GBP/USD hit a fresh high at 1.6275, the highest price in 13 days.
Greenback also weakened against commodity currencies and fell to fresh lows. USD/CAD fell to 0.9634 after finding resistance at 0.9660. AUD/USD is approaching 1.0350 after being rejected from levels under 1.0300.
The American currency is only rising against the Yen and the Swiss Franc. The USD/JPY is testing last week highs around 84.70 while USD/CHF moved off session highs but holds on top of 0.9230. The Yen is falling across the board trading at multi-month lows as government bond yields rise.
