RTTN: Dollar Declines Ahead Of U.S. February Trade Balance Report
(RTTNews) - The US Department of Commerce will release its trade balance report for February at 8:30 AM ET. Economists estimate that the trade gap narrowed to $44 billion in the month, after having widened to $46.2 billion in January.
Also in traders' focus will be the data on export and import prices for March, due for release by the Labor Department at 8.30 a.m ET.
Ahead of the data, the US dollar edged lower against its major counterparts. The greenback is presently trading at 1.4490 against the euro, 0.8986 against the Swiss franc, 1.63 against the pound and 84.20 against the yen.
