MW: U.S. futures edge down ahead of data, GM results
European Central Bank press conference in focus

MADRID (MarketWatch) — U.S. stock futures were trading slightly lower on Thursday as markets awaited same-store sales data, results from blue-chips such as General Motors Co. and a meeting of the European Central Bank.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJM11 -0.42% fell 8 points to 12,664, while those for the Standard & Poor’s 500 index SPM11 -0.44% lost 1.4 points to 1,341.40 and those for the Nasdaq 100 index NDM11 -0.42% fell 0.5 point to 2,383.25.
