RTRS: U.S. crude adds to gains after April CPI data
May 13 (Reuters) - U.S. crude oil futures extended gains on Friday after data showed that domestic consumer prices rose in April as expected, but exhibited little sign of a broader inflation pick-up.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange at 8:34 a.m. EDT (1234 GMT), crude for June delivery was up $1.32 at $100.29 a barrel. Before the release of the data from the Labor Department, the contract had been up 91 cents at $99.88.
