MW: Natural-gas futures retreat further after EIA data

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures dipped further in the red Thursday after a government report showed a larger-than-expected increase in inventories. Natural gas for June delivery NGM11 -1.76% retreated 8 cents, or 2.1%, to $4.11 per million British thermal units. The Energy Information Administration reported an increase of 92 billion cubic feet to supplies in the week ended May 13. Analysts polled by Platts had expected an increase between 87 and 91 billion cubic feet.
