MW: Gold trades lower after four days of gains

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold futures traded modestly lower Thursday, taking a breather after four days of gains. Gold for June delivery GCM11 -0.21% , the contract with the most volume, declined 0.2% to $1,522.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Gold for August GCQ11 -0.23% , with the most open interest, declined $4 to $1,523.90 an ounce.
