NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- The dollar fell against other currencies on Friday ahead of a series of data to be released by the government later in the morning. The dollar DXY -0.82% , which measures the U.S. unit against a basket of six major currencies fell to 75.17, from 75.598 late Thursday. Later this morning, the government will release data on U.S. personal income for April, as well as pending home sales for the month.
