FX: Oil gains for second day, rises above $102/bbL
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Crude oil in New York rose for second day in a row, breaking above $102 a barrel as the US dollar came under broadbased pressure on improved prospects for a bailout for Greece.
Crude for July delivery rose $2.23 or 2.22% to its highest level in almost 3 weeks at $102.58 before easing slightly. Currently oil price is at $102.32 per barrel, extending a recovery from lows near $96.00/barrel earlier in the month.
In London, Brent for July jumped $1.56 or 1.37% to $116.16 per barrel.
