Hartford Financial Services (NYSE:HIG) shares gained 4.18 percent to $27.64 in pre-market trading session. The company announced on Friday that it appointed Sabra Purtill as senior vice president and head of investor relations.

Ferro Corp. (NYSE:FOE) shares advanced 2.39 percent to $12.85 in pre-market trading session after the company stock was upgraded to “buy” rating from “hold” rating at Deutsche Bank AG.

Dow Chemical Co. (NYSE:DOW) shares gained 2.53 percent to $36.50 in pre-market trading session. The company announced that it has successfully demonstrated the use of recycled plastic to generate energy. The successful pilot test measured how plastic that has been reused and recycled to the full extent possible can be used as fuel for an ultimate end-of-life option instead of going to a landfill for disposal.

Gamestop Corp. (NYSE:GME) shares advanced 2.8 percent to $29.00 in pre-market trading session. Executive Chairman Daniel A. Dematteo sold 200,000 shares of GME for $27.74, generating $5.5 million from the sale.

MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. (NYSE:WFR) shares advanced 2.37 percent to $10.36 in pre-market trading session.

Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) shares advanced 2.31 percent to $19.95 in pre-market trading session. The company stock was upgraded to “buy” rating at Aurig.

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE:APC) shares gained to $80.24 in pre-market trading session after the company stock was upgraded to “outperform” rating at Wells Fargo.

Carnival Corp. (NYSE:CCL) shares advanced 1.77 percent to $39.08 in pre-market trading session. The stock has a 52 week low of $29.68 and 52 week high of $48.14 and has $30.39 billion market capitalization.

Mosaic Co. (NYSE: MOS) shares advanced 1.58 percent to $71.15 in pre-market trading session. The company stock was upgraded to “buy” rating at Citigroup.
