AGI:EURO OPENS ABOVE 1, 46 DOLLARS WAITING FOR ECB
(AGI) Rome - The euro was up in early trade, above 1,46 dollars, waiting for the ECB meeting in Frankfurt. The European currency is traded for 1,4616 dollars. One euro buys 117,06 yen and 80,07 yen fetch a dollar. Analysts expect the ECB president to announce a possible increase in European prime rates in July, but no changes are foreseen in the short term. The rates should remain at 1,25%. . .
