WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- April wholesale inventories grew 0.8% to a seasonally adjusted $447.2 billion, the Commerce Department reported, and March inventories were revised higher to show 1.3% growth vs. a previous estimate of a 1.1% increase. Auto inventories fell but petroleum inventories climbed.
