CO:Silver continues to shine in India commodities trading
MUMBAI, India (Commodity Online): Silver continues to shine in futures trading in India's leading commodity bourse, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Even though price fluctuations in the silver market dampened commodities market temporarily in the country, there is renewed investor interest in bullion, especially in silver.
During the week ending Friday, Silver July 11 contract on MCX was up by 2.22% to Rs 55847.00 per kg, SilverM August 11 contract was up by 2.24% to Rs 56614.00 per kg and SilverMIC June 11 contract was up by 2.20% to Rs 55867.00 per kg.
MCX Comdex was up by 0.54% to 3482.91, MCX Energy was up by 0.47% to 3241.29 and MCX Metal was up by 1.00% to 4527.23.
Bullion:
Gold August 11 contract was up 0.08% to Rs 22589.00 per 10 grams, GoldM August 11 contract was up by 0.06% to Rs 22596.00 per 10 grams, Goldguinea June 11 contract was down by 0.13% to Rs 17985.00 per 8 grams and GoldPetal June 11 contract was down by 0.18% to Rs 2258.00 per grm. Silver July 11 contract was up by 2.22% to Rs 55847.00 per kg, SilverM August 11 contract was up by 2.24% to Rs 56614.00 per kg and SilverMIC June 11 contract was up by 2.20% to Rs 55867.00 per kg.
Metals:
Aluminium July 11 contract was up by 0.85% to Rs 118.85 per kg, alumini July 11 contract was up 0.81% to Rs 118.75 per kg, lead June 11 contract was up by 6.13% to Rs 116.05 per kg, lead mini June 11 contract was up by 6.08% to Rs 116.05 per kg, zinc August 11 contract was up by 2.20% to Rs 104.55 per kg, zinc mini August 11 contract was up 2.25% to Rs 104.45 per kg, nickel August 11 contract was up by 1.24% to Rs 1050.80 per kg while copper August 11 contract was down by 0.23% to Rs 411.20 per kg.
Energy:
Crude oil June 11 contract was up 1.04% to Rs 4548.00 per barrel while natural gas June 11 contract was down by 2.83% to Rs 209.30 per MMBTU.
Agriculture:
Menthaoil June 11 contract was up by 0.83% to Rs 878.60 per kg, potato August 11 contract was up by 1.15% to Rs 431.10 per 100 kgs, cardamom June 11 contract was up by 6.30% to Rs 771.10 per kg while CPO August 11 contract was down by 3.17% to Rs 515.90 per 10 kgs, refsoyoil July 11 contract was down by 1.00% to Rs 650.10 per 10 kgs, potatoTRWR June 11 contract was down by 1.07% to Rs 482.70 per 100 kgs and sugar June 11 contract was down 1.47% to Rs 2477.00 per 100 kgs.
