PAIV:YTC Resources hits bonanza lead zinc silver in western lens at Nymagee
YTC Resources (ASX: YTC) continues to deliver strong exploration results from the 90% owned Nymagee Copper Project, with the latest hole intersecting bonanza grade massive sulphides.
The intersection in the western lead-zinc lens included (NMD032); 5 metres at 17.1% lead, 24.0% zinc, 265 grams per tonne (g/t) silver and 0.16g/t gold from 81 metres.
The western lead-zinc-silver lens is located around 10 metres to 15 metres west of the Nymagee Main Lode, which YTC Resources said appears to be strongly developed in the upper 350 metre range.
The results boost the potential that the western lead-zinc-silver lens has the potential to contribute substantial high grade tonnes to the combined development of the Hera and Nymagee deposits.
In addition to the open ended high grade copper zones in the Main, Royal and Club House lodes, as well as the recently discovered shallow sulphide copper mineralisation.
Rimas Kairaitis commented on the strong results, by saying, “These are further outstanding results, the lead-zinc-silver grades observed in hole NMD032 are unprecedented for Nymagee, and the results from hole NMD027W1 have extended the Nymagee Main Lode to the south.
"We believe the structure at the southern end of the Nymagee Lode is favourable to a significant grade increase in this area and look forward to further results from here."
The highlight from NMD027W1 was; 15 metres at 2.5% copper, 0.8% lead, 2.5% zinc, 21g/t silver and 0.1g/t gold from 296 metres.
