WSJ:OIL FUTURES: Oil Plunges On Greece Debt Worries, Strong Dollar
LONDON (Dow Jones)--Crude-oil futures plunged almost 3% Friday as the dollar strengthened against the euro on worries about the Greek sovereign debt crisis.
At 0820 GMT, the August Brent contract on London's ICE futures exchange was down $2.42, or 2.1%, at $111.60 a barrel, after falling to a low of $111.05 a barrel.
The front-month July contract on the New York Mercantile Exchange was trading down $2.50, or 2.6%, at $92.45 per barrel, up from an earlier low of $92.12 a barrel.
