New Delhi, Jun 22 (PTI) Crude oil prices weakened by Rs 6 to Rs 4,215 per barrel in futures trade today on emergence of selling by local traders on the back of weak global cues.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for delivery in July shed Rs 6 to Rs 4,215 per barrel, with a business turnover of 12,677 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in August shed Rs 4, or 0.09 per cent, to Rs 4,265 per barrel, with an open interest of 11 lots.
Analysts said fresh selling by traders in tandem with a weakening global trend mainly led to the decline in crude oil prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, crude fell by 46 cents to USD 93.71 per barrel in New York.
