RTRS: Euro briefly pares losses vs dollar after US data
The euro briefly pared losses against the dollar on Friday after the release of better-than-expected U.S. durable goods data, which eased investor concerns about the economic slowdown. For details on data, see [ID:nCLAOHE7G9]
In morning trading in New York, the euro went as high as 1.4239 after the data compared with $1.4223 moments before the report EUR=. It was last at $1.4227, still down 0.3 percent on the day.
