ECM: India oil cos 2011/12 revenue loss at $26.67 billion post price hike: Jaipal Reddy
NEW DELHI: Indian oil marketing firms are estimated to lose Rs 1.2 trillion ($26.67 billion) in revenue due to sales of subsidised fuel after Friday's round of petroleum product price hikes, Oil Minister Jaipal Reddy said.
India raised diesel prices by 3 rupees per litre, or 7.8 percent, kerosene prices by 2 rupees a litre and that of a 14.2 kg cooking gas cylinder by 50 rupees.
