USD/JPY Open 80.46 High 80.88 Low 80.13 Close 80.40

On Friday Dollar/Yen decreased insignificantly with almost 50 pips, than recovered almost all losses, matching the negative Interbank sentiment at almost -10%. The currency couple depreciated from 80.61 to 80.13 on Friday, closing the week at 80.40. This morning the Dollar strengthened against the Yen, climbing up to 80.88. On the 1 hour chart trading has moved into a range, while on the 3 hour chart quotes are moving within wider trading range. Break above today's top and nearest resistance 80.88 would encourage further recovery of the Dollar. Immediate support is Friday's bottom at 80.13, and consistent break bellow it could strengthen the Yen further down towards next target 79.30. Today is Japan Retail sales at 23:50 GMT. Quotes are moving above the 20 and 50 EMA on the 1 hour chart, indicating bullish pressure. The value of the RSI indicator is positive and tranquil, MACD is positive and quiet too, while CCI has crossed up the 100 line on the 1 hour chart, giving overall long signals.
