SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Gold and crude-oil futures pared losses Monday, briefly turning higher, as the dollar slipped versus major currencies and investors grew more confident Greece would find political will to restructure its debt. Oil for August delivery CL1Q -0.42% declined 43 cents, or 0.4%, to $90.76 a barrel. Gold for August delivery GC1Q +0.04% declined 20 cents to $1,500.80 an ounce, hanging on to the psychologically key $1,500 an ounce.
