MSN: Select metals rise on industrial demand
 
Mumbai, June 28 (PTI) Tin, nickel and brass prices rose at the non-ferrous metal market here today on the back of heavy industrial demand coupled with stockists buying.
Meanwhile, copper and zinc eased further owing to subdued demand from consumer industries.
The industrial metals edged up on the LME after an agreement by the French banks to rollover Greek debt amidst expectations of a parliamentary approval for its austerity measures later in the week.
Tin rallied by Rs 10 per kilo to Rs 1,370 from Monday''s closing level of Rs 1,360 and nickel firmed up by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 1,175 as compared to Rs 1,170 previously.
Brass sheets cutting inched up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 315.
However, copper scrap heavy moved up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 450 as against Rs 452 previously.
Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and zinc all softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 458, Rs 421, Rs 486 and 122 respectively.
