RTTN: Yen Rises To 2-day High Against Dollar And Swiss Franc
(RTTNews) - The Japanese yen spiked higher across the board in early New York trading on Wednesday as traders seek safe-haven currencies even after the Greek Parliament approved the austerity bill.
The yen is presently trading at a 2-day high of 80.57 against the US dollar and 96.66 against the Swiss franc with 80.30 and 95.20, respectively seen as the next likely resistance levels.
The yen also advanced to 115.93 against the euro, 82.77 against the Canadian dollar, 66.14 versus the NZ dollar, 85.58 against the Australian dollar and 129.14 against the pound around 9:15 am ET.
