RTRS:S.Korea GS Caltex to hike fuel prices gradually; S-Oil may follow -spokesmen
Jun 30 (Reuters) - South Korea's second-largest crude oil refiner GS Caltex will increase prices of gasoline and diesel after its three-month price cut expires in early July, a company spokesman said on Thursday.
The country's No.3 refiner S-Oil may follow GS Caltex's move, according to an S-Oil spokesman, while SK Energy and Hyundai Oilbank spokesmen said nothing had been decided yet over fuel prices.
Facing government pressure to curb inflation, South Korea's four refiners in April lowered prices of gasoline and diesel for automobiles by 100 Korean won ($0.093) per litre for three months to July 6. ($1 = 1073.000 Korean Won) (Reporting by Cho Mee-young
