(RTTNews) - The US dollar that climbed to a 2-day high of 80.89 against the Japanese yen in early Friday Asian deals pared gains ahead of the European session.
The greenback shed more than 30 pips to reach as low as 80.57 versus the yen before holding steady around 2:35 am ET.
The dollar-yen pair is presently worth 80.60 with 80.50 seen as the next likely support level in near-term.
