BLBG: Japan’s Jobless Rate Unexpectedly Falls to 4.5% in May From Month Earlier
Japan’s unemployment rate fell to 4.5 percent in May from 4.7 percent in April, the statistics bureau said in Tokyo today. The median forecast of 31 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News was for the jobless rate to rise to 4.8 percent.
