MW:U.S. stock futures sink on euro-zone debt fears
LONDON (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stock futures fell sharply early Tuesday, tracking steep declines in European equity markets, as growing fears about the spreading of the euro-zone debt crisis to large economies such as Italy and Spain shook investors. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJ1U -1.14% slumped 101 points to 12,388 and those on the Standard & Poor's 500 stock index SP1U -1.24% fell 14.20 points to 1,304.30.
