WSJ:Brazil's Petrobras To Reduce Natural Gas Price By 14.3% >PBR
SAO PAULO (Dow Jones)--The Brazilian state-run energy company Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PBR, PETR4.BR), or Petrobras, will reduce its natural gas price by 14.3%, the company said in a statement late Thursday.
The price cut will take effect Aug. 1.
Petrobras reviews natural gas prices each quarter. In the previous quarter, the company reduced gas prices by 9.7%.
The company's main consumers of natural gas are local industries and electric utilities.
