MW: Natural gas turns lower after EIA supply report

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures turned red after a supplies report on Thursday. The August contract of the product NG11Q -0.53% declined 2 cents, or 0.7%, to $4.44 per million British thermal units. It traded close to $4.55 per million Btus before the report. The EIA said natural gas inventories rose 60 billion cubic feet on the week ended July 15. Analysts polled by Platts had expected an increase between 58 and 62 billion cubic feet.
