OG:World Oil Prices Decline as U.S. Inventory Grows
The price of oil on world commodity exchanges was falling Thursday morning as crude inventory in the U.S. inventory rose.
The price of a September futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was down 89 cents to $96.51 a barrel by 6:55 Moscow time. The price of a September futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was off 1 cent to $117.42 in London.
The day before, September WTI contracts fell $2.19 to $97.40 a barrel, while September Brent contracts declined 85 cents to $117.43.
