Shares of state-run oil marketing companies and airlines were trading higher as a sharp fall in international crude prices lifted sentiment, several dealers said. US crude for September fell 38 cents to $93.41 a barrel to a near five-week low on Wednesday, after ratings agency Moody's Investors Service assigned a negative outlook to the United States, stoking concern that the world's top oil user faces longer-term fiscal and economic challenges .
At 10.12 a.m. shares in Indian Oil Corp. , Bharat Petroleum Corp. , Hindustan Petroleum Corp. , Jet Airways , Kingfisher Airlines and SpiceJet were up 0.1-5.25 per cent in a weak Mumbai market which is 0.72 per cent down.
