BLBG:Russian Equity Movers: Lukoil, Transneft, Uralkali are Active
 
The 30-stock Micex Index (INDEXCF) was little changed at 1,657.2 by 12:59 p.m.in Moscow, paring an earlier increase of as much as 0.9 percent. The dollar-denominated RTS Index added 0.2 percent to 1,904.8.
The following were among the most active stocks in the Russian market today. Stock symbols are in parenthesis.
OAO Lukoil (LKOH RX), Russia’s second-biggest oil producer, slid for a third day as crude fell in New York on signs of a slowing U.S. economy. Its stock slipped 0.8 percent to 1,770.1 rubles.
OAO Transneft (TRNFP RX) rose the most in more than two months after the government said it may start selling a stake in the Russian oil pipeline monopoly operator next year. The shares climbed as much as 4.6 percent, their biggest intraday gain since June 2, and last traded 2.7 percent higher at 43,011 rubles.
OAO Uralkali (URKA RX) climbed for the third day this week after market researcher FMB said the Russian potash producer’s trader may have agreed to sell the soil nutrient to India under the same terms announced yesterday by Canada’s Canpotex Ltd. The shares added 1.9 percent to 267.26 rubles, helping pare yesterday’s 5.2 percent slump.
