WSJ:Dollar Thrifty 2Q Profit Up 0.6% On Lower Expenses
Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc.'s (DTG) second-quarter earnings rose 0.6% as the car-rental company posted lower merger-related expenses, though results missed analyst expectations.
The company again raised its full-year adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization to a range of $270 million to $290 million, excluding the impact of merger-related expenses, from its May estimate of $260 million to $285 million. Dollar Thrifty also said it expects full-year revenue to be in line with the previous year's results.
