BOSTON (MarketWatch) -- Bank of America BAC +6.19% has reportedly held preliminary talks with investment funds in Kuwait and Qatar about selling its stake in China Construction Bank, or CCB, according to a Reuters report early Thursday. The U.S. bank owns about 10% of CCB's Hong Kong-listed shares, valued at around $17 billion. Bank of America will be contractually free to sell the shares after Aug. 29, Reuters added.
